Drawing - plan view to front elevation
I am doing some work with my class based on the Harry Potter movies. We recently visited the Harry Potter Studios near Watford and are designing a brand new scene for one of the films. the pupils need to use scale drawing techniques and work out how much material they need to build the set, costing the materials for the producer (me).
This video shows one way of taking a plan view (from above) and turning it into a front elevation (looking at it from directly in front). You will have to pause it at the end to see the result as it jumps off quite quickly!
